A little about me…
Abstract art is an expression of the inner spiritual world.
My name is Connie Song. I was born and raised in Taiwan in a warm and loving family. From my university years, I had already entered the world of art. Artistic expression became a way for my inner spiritual world to connect beautifully with reality, allowing me to grow continuously through both work and creativity.
At different stages of my life, I explored various forms of artistic expression. Later, I pursued further study in another artistic discipline and founded my own fashion company, where I worked as the chief designer. The integration of design and art deepened my understanding of aesthetics, structure, and the power of creativity.
In midlife, an awakening of inner passion and spiritual movement led me to pursue a form of art that would allow me to think and create with complete independence. This path brought me back to painting, a talent that had been recognized since childhood. My art teachers often described me as having a natural gift for drawing. I possess an intuitive ability to observe forms and quickly translate visual impressions into images in my mind.
Since then, I have embarked on a long artistic journey. Over the past twenty-two years, painting has become a remarkable and transformative path filled with spiritual growth and awakening of consciousness. This journey has demanded extraordinary dedication—often beyond ordinary physical and mental limits. Yet the reward has been an indescribable richness of spirit and a deep sense of fulfillment.
Throughout this process, I carry a profound sense of gratitude. These years of creation have become some of the most precious and meaningful moments of my life.
My paintings explore themes of light, the universe, energy, and spiritual space. On the canvas, color and movement are not merely visual elements; they represent the flow of energy and the manifestation of inner consciousness.
For me, abstract art is not a departure from reality, but rather a language through which the inner world becomes visible. Every artist’s visual philosophy reflects the state of their soul.
If my work can resonate with viewers and allow them to feel a connection with light and the inner spirit, that would be my greatest joy as an artist.
I also hope that my work may contribute, even in a small way, to the world of art.
